Currently, KLN is represented in 59 countries globally, including four branches in Germany.
For our Raunheim branch, we are looking for a Senior Operations Specialist Airfreight Export (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.
Your responsibilities:
- Handling export orders with a focus on Asia and worldwide destinations
- Full processing of air freight export shipments, including customs clearance
- Providing customer support via telephone and written communication
- Handling customer complaints and claims
- Corresponding in English with international branches and agents
- Coordinating shipment orders and transportation arrangements
- Preparing transport documents, quotations, and customer communications
- Managing invoicing and supporting the preparation of monthly closings and reports
- Demonstrating leadership potential and willingness to take on management responsibilities
- Participating in an on-call duty rota
- Ensuring compliance with quality management standards and procedures
Your profile:
- Completed vocational training as a Freight Forwarding and Logistics
- Services Specialist (or Freight Forwarding Clerk)
- Several years of professional experience in Air Freight Export operations
- Initial experience in personnel management and team leadership
- Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures and import/export regulations
- Customer-oriented, flexible, and possessing excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a structured and organized manner
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
