For our Bremen branch, we are looking for a Freight Forwarder – Ocean Freight Import (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible!

Your responsibilities:
- Independent handling of Ocean Freight Import (FCL & LCL) operations
- Organization of pre-carriage and onward carriage (on-carriage)
- Order acceptance and entry in the proprietary system (KSMART)
- Independent processing and customs clearance / handling of customs formalities
- Correspondence with shipping lines, customers, and overseas partners in German and English
- Complaint management and invoicing
- Verification and booking of incoming documents
- Preparation of quotations/offers
Your profile:
- Completed vocational training as a Forwarding and Logistics Services Clerk or comparable professional experience (e.g., as a Freight Forwarder or Commercial Clerk with logistics background)
- Professional experience in the field of Ocean Freight Import
- Very good knowledge of customs clearance
- Customer orientation, flexibility, and strong communication skills
- An independent, structured, and proactive way of working with high proficiency in documentation
- A strong team player
- Business fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
