We are looking for a dynamic and strategic leader to fill the position of “Head of Finance & Compliance Germany, Poland, Czech Republic (m/f/d)” as soon as possible.
You can look forward to the following tasks:
In this key strategic role, you will report to the management team and work closely with the regional CFO and our national finance teams to support the achievement of our company's financial goals. In addition to managing the company's financial development, our controlling, and internal control systems, you will be responsible for and monitor financial transactions, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will also help develop and identify profitable growth strategies, challenge the status quo, and play a central role in our KLN 2.0 growth strategy.
You will be responsible for the following core areas:
- Finance & Digitalization: Management of budget planning, forecasting, and financial statements, as well as implementation of profit center controlling and BI/ERP systems
- Compliance & Risk: Development of a compliance management system (CMS) to ensure legal standards (HGB, GDPR, Money Laundering Act, customs law, etc.) and management of risk management
- Sustainability: Establishing CO2 monitoring, climate accounting, and supporting certifications (e.g., ISO 14001)
- Insurance: Central contract management, including deadline monitoring and management of the entire insurance portfolio
- Stakeholder Management: Establishing and maintaining strong global internal relationships to align the financial strategy with overarching business objectives
We expect the following knowledge/qualifications:
- Successfully completed degree in business administration, finance, commercial law, or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in a management position in finance, ideally in multinational or global companies in the transport and logistics industry
- In-depth knowledge of accounting, controlling, and commercial law, as well as a strong ability to analyze financial data
- Proven ability to successfully lead and collaborate with cross-functional and cross-border teams
- Strong hands-on mentality, a clear mindset, and a high level of implementation strength in strategic projects
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
