For our Bremen branch, we are looking for a full-time Freight Forwarder – Ocean Freight Automotive (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.

Your responsibilities:
- Independent handling of global ocean freight shipments
- Creation and verification of transport documents
- Order acceptance and entry in the proprietary system: No manual data entry – direct system integration via Compass allows results and information to be retrieved and reported back to the customer directly
- Automated data transfer via EDI interface: Orders are efficiently imported and recorded directly into the system
- High degree of automation through supporting tools: Recurring tasks are predictable and supported by reporting tools, enabling a structured and forward-looking way of working
- Organization of global pre-carriage and correspondence with shipping lines
- Customer consulting and support (via telephone and email)
- Complaint management
- Varied side projects offer room for involvement and promote personal and professional development – with perspectives both within and outside the department
- Correspondence with international branches and agents, primarily in English
- Support with monthly closing procedures
- Preparation of quotations/offers
- Handling of customs formalities
- Compliance with customer- and department-specific KPIs.
Your profile:
- Completed vocational training as a Forwarding and Logistics Services Clerk or comparable professional experience (e.g., as a Freight Forwarder or Commercial Clerk with a logistics background)
- Professional experience in the field of Ocean Freight
- Proficient in MS Office
- Business fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
- Customer orientation, flexibility, and strong communication skills
- An independent, structured, and proactive way of working with high proficiency in documentation
- A strong team player
